Yuasa AGM batteries are Maintenance Free, with no need to add water, but periodic charging is required when not in use. The advanced lead-calcium technology used in these batteries holds its specific gravity for more than 3 times longer than conventional lead antimony batteries. The Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) separators in these batteries absorb the electrolyte, making the battery non-spillable, and the valve-regulated design eliminates water loss and the need for refilling.

These Bottle Supplied (BS) dry AGM batteries are shipped with the electrolyte stored in a plastic container, and the end-user fills the battery with the electrolyte from the container when it's ready to be activated. The size and weight specifications of these batteries are as follows: Length: 6 7/8 in (175 mm), Width: 3 7/16 in (87 mm), Height: 6 1/8 in (155 mm), and Weight with Acid (lbs.): 13.9.

In terms of the battery's specifications, it has a Capacity of 18 Ah at 10HR, a Regular Charge Current of 1.8 Amp, and a Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) of 270 at 0 °F (-18 °C). This is a 12 Volt, 18 amp-hour, 270 cold cranking amps, maintenance-free battery.
